Emir of Zazzau pledges support to NAHCON for Hajj administration

The Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, visited the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) headquarters in Abuja to pledge the support of the traditional institution for Hajj operations.

During the meeting with NAHCON Chairman and CEO Ambassador Ismail Abba Yusuf, the Emir emphasized the importance of transparency, strategic planning, and early preparation to manage the logistics for tens of thousands of pilgrims. He noted that the Zazzau Emirate serves as a key stakeholder in mobilizing and sensitizing intending pilgrims to ensure a seamless spiritual journey.

In response, the NAHCON Chairman detailed the commission’s current efforts to improve Hajj experiences through digital innovations, new policy frameworks, and strategic partnerships. These initiatives aim to reduce costs, improve accommodation and feeding, and streamline the airlift process for pilgrims.
