Emirates appoints Hallvard Bratberg as Norway Country Manager

Hallvard Bratberg has been appointed as the new Country Manager for Emirates in Norway, effective September 14, 2026. A veteran of the aviation industry, Bratberg brings nearly 30 years of experience, much of it from his tenure at SAS, where he held leadership roles in Norway, Sweden, Hong Kong, France, Spain, and Portugal.

In his new role, Bratberg holds commercial responsibility for Emirates’ operations in Norway. This includes managing the daily passenger service between Oslo and Dubai, as well as the weekly cargo flight on the same route. He will report directly to Pierfrancesco Carino, VP Commercial for North and West Europe.

Emirates leadership expressed confidence in Bratberg’s ability to maintain strong relationships with customers and travel industry partners while driving continued growth and strengthening the airline's presence in the Norwegian market.
