Emirates issues travel advisory for busy July rush at Dubai Airport
Emirates warned passengers that Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3 will experience a surge in departures from Friday July 3 to Sunday July 5, with high passenger volumes expected to continue throughout the summer holiday season. Travelers are advised to arrive at least three hours before departure, clear immigration with about 90 minutes to spare and be at the gate an hour before take‑off.
The airline recommends using the Dubai Metro, which runs directly to Terminal 3, and taking advantage of early online or app check‑in that opens 48 hours before flight. Bag‑drop services are available up to 24 hours ahead (12 hours for U.S.-bound flights). Emirates also offers City Check‑in at ICD Brookfield Place in DIFC and at Ajman Central Bus Terminal, plus a Home Check‑in service where an agent collects luggage from a passenger’s address. Inside the airport, a free train links Concourses A and B, a 24‑hour shuttle runs between A and C, and free buggies are provided for elderly travellers, families and People of Determination.
