Emirates launches travel simulations for neurodiverse families in Australia

Emirates has launched ‘Travel Rehearsal’ events across Australia to support neurodiverse passengers and their families. These immersive simulations are designed to reduce travel anxiety by allowing participants to experience the entire journey in a calm environment.

Following sessions in Brisbane and Melbourne, the initiative held an event in Perth. The simulation included end-to-end processes such as check-in, passport control, security screening, and visits to sensory rooms. Participants also boarded a static aircraft for safety briefings and cabin familiarization to build confidence for future flights.
