Emirates-linked entities sign agreements for social inclusion and worker welfare

Emirates Petroleum Company (Emarat) and the Dubai Club for People of Determination have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster community inclusion. The partnership aims to create opportunities for People of Determination to develop skills and participate more actively in society through programs focused on training, employment, and volunteering.

Separately, Emirates has entered into a three-year Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) to support Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their families. This collaboration focuses on welfare, social protection, and repatriation assistance. Given that the UAE is the second-largest destination for Filipino workers globally, the agreement includes potential initiatives such as preferential fares for official OWWA travel and support for individuals advocating for OFW welfare.
