Emirates reaches two million passenger milestone at London Stansted

Emirates has reached a milestone of two million passengers at London Stansted Airport. Since launching services at the airport in 2018, the airline has expanded its operations to include two daily flights to Dubai using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Approximately 30% of passengers traveling from Stansted fly directly to Dubai, while the remaining 70% connect through the Dubai hub to destinations such as India, Australia, Thailand, and Mauritius. In addition to passenger services, Emirates SkyCargo transports roughly 25,000 tons of cargo annually from the airport, including medical equipment and industrial machinery.

The airline has also invested over £4 million in the airport, which included the 2024 opening of a 900-square-meter dedicated lounge capable of accommodating up to 125 guests.
