Emirates rolls out next‑generation airport lounges in Istanbul and other key cities
Emirates is introducing a new, next‑generation lounge concept across its global network. The design, already unveiled in the Munich and Frankfurt lounges, will be rolled out later this year at locations in Manchester, Mauritius and Istanbul, with the Istanbul lounge slated to open in October.
Each new lounge represents an investment of more than 50 million AED (about US$13.6 million) or AU$19 million, and will feature contemporary architecture, integrated digital technology, locally inspired gastronomy, a dedicated mixologist and barista, wellness‑focused amenities, private prayer rooms, shower suites, quiet zones, meeting spaces and nursing facilities. Emirates deputy president and chief operations officer Adel Al Redha said the concept reflects the airline’s commitment to delivering a seamless premium experience from the lounge to the aircraft cabin.
