Emirates SkyCargo launches AI Tech for hardware transport

Emirates SkyCargo has introduced AI Tech, a specialized logistics product designed to transport critical artificial intelligence infrastructure. The service targets the movement of high-value and sensitive hardware, including AI server racks, semiconductors, GPUs, and other capital equipment.

To support this sector, Emirates plans to operate a fleet of 23 dedicated freighters by March 2027, providing capacity for tall and dense server racks that can weigh over 3.5 tons. The service features priority loading, specialized handling, and proactive shipment monitoring through the company’s command center in Dubai to ensure deployment schedules are met.

Badr Abbas, Senior Vice President of Emirates SkyCargo, stated that the service aims to provide certainty for the physical infrastructure required for AI innovation. The company reported transporting over 700 tons of AI infrastructure through its global network in July alone.
