Emirates unveils electrically powered Premium Economy seats

Emirates has unveiled a new electrically powered Premium Economy seat, which it claims is the first of its kind. The seat, designed for the airline’s new Airbus A350 fleet, features a full-height adjustable privacy divider that passengers can raise or lower via a button.

The cabin configuration includes 28 seats per aircraft in a 2-3-2 layout. Key amenities include the U-Dream leather headrest, wireless charging, USB-C power, and a 13.3-inch 4K HDR touchscreen. The seats offer a pitch of up to 39 inches and can recline into a cradle position.

Emirates plans to showcase these features at the Arabian Travel Market 2026. The airline will also highlight other signature products, such as the A380 Shower Spa and Boeing 777 Game Changer First Class Suite, alongside various sustainability and community initiatives.
