Emlur-JP conducts urban cleaning and waste collection in João Pessoa

The Municipal Special Urban Cleaning Authority of João Pessoa (Emlur-JP) is conducting cleaning and conservation services across various locations in the capital this Friday. These routine operations aim to maintain public spaces and ensure urban cleanliness through regular household waste collection and conservation efforts in several neighborhoods.

Targeted areas include Valentina Figueiredo, Expedicionários, Torre, Tambaú, Centro, José Américo, Josefa Taveira, Cuiá, Funcionários, Lagoa, and Avenida Maximiano Figueiredo. In addition to standard collection, teams are working to remove furniture, useless objects, and various residues that have been irregularly discarded in public areas to reduce illegal dumping sites.

Emlur-JP Superintendent Ricardo Veloso emphasized that continuous maintenance depends on resident cooperation to avoid irregular waste disposal. Citizens are encouraged to use official municipal channels, such as the ‘João Pessoa na Palma da Mão’ application, to request urban cleaning services.
