Emma Marrone addresses Sanremo 2027 hosting rumors

Italian singer Emma Marrone has addressed speculation regarding a potential role as a co-host for the 2027 Sanremo Music Festival alongside Stefano De Martino. In a recent interview with Tv Sorrisi e Canzoni, Marrone dismissed the idea of returning to the Ariston stage in a hosting capacity, noting that the role is significantly more stressful and demanding than performing.

Marrone stated that if she were to return to the festival, she would do so exclusively as a singer. She also commented on her ongoing friendship with De Martino, noting that they speak frequently but that he is well-supported by professionals.

In addition to her comments on Sanremo, the singer mentioned she is currently working on a new album and planning a collaboration with Fabri Fibra. She also shared a recent personal anecdote about being stuck in an elevator in Rome.
