Emma Marrone returns to FIMI number one via viral TikTok hit

Italian singer Emma Marrone has returned to the top of the FIMI singles chart for the first time since 2012. This achievement is driven by the resurgence of her 2013 track, ‘L’Amore Non Mi Basta’, which became a viral trend on TikTok.

The song's popularity on social media was fueled by its use in video edits featuring footballer Paulo Dybala. In an interview with Tv Sorrisi & Canzoni, Marrone expressed surprise at the success, noting that the song is now reaching a younger generation that was too small to listen to it during its original release.

Marrone also addressed the upcoming Sanremo 2027 festival, which will be hosted by Stefano De Martino. She mentioned that she and De Martino remain friends and maintain regular contact.
