Emma opens Taipei flagship store as smart mattress technology advances

The sleep technology market is seeing increased physical retail presence and advancements in smart mattress integration. German brand Emma has opened a new flagship store in Taipei, designed to provide a one-stop sleep experience. The store allows consumers to test various products, including Zero Gravity mattresses, Diamond graphene mattresses, and Hybrid pocket spring models, to find optimal support based on body type and sleeping posture. This new location joins Emma's existing network in Banqiao, Taichung, Kaohsiung, and Hsinchu.

In the smart mattress sector, Sealy has been recognized for its high-performance smart sleep systems. The Sealy Smart Sleep Pro base features German Okken dual motors providing a combined thrust of 12,000N, operating at a noise level below 45 decibels. The system is designed to integrate with Sealy's Posturetech spring system to maintain spinal support during motorized adjustments, addressing common industry issues regarding lumbar discomfort during bed elevation.
