Emma Raducanu reunites with coach Andrew Richardson ahead of Wimbledon

Emma Raducanu has re‑signed with former coach Andrew Richardson, the duo that led her to the 2021 US Open title. Former Australian Open finalist John Lloyd described the earlier split with Richardson as “the most illogical thing” he had seen in years.

Since reuniting with Richardson, Raducanu reached the final of the Queen’s Club tournament, defeating Sorana Cirstea and Iva Jovic before falling to Donny Vekic. The performance lifted her WTA ranking from No. 42 to No. 31, securing a seeded spot at Wimbledon. Reports also note her relationship with public‑relations executive John Friend.
