Emma Ruth Rundle releases sixth studio album ‘These Killing Times’

Singer-songwriter Emma Ruth Rundle has released her sixth studio album, ‘These Killing Times’, through her imprint Errant Child. The album marks a return to a full-band setup, featuring a quiet-loud dynamic and a mix of sociopolitical themes and personal reflections.

Co-produced by Sonny Diperri, the record includes contributions from a diverse group of musicians, including Jess Gowrie, Troy Zeigler, and Nick Reinhart. Musically, the album blends semi-acoustic dark folk atmospheres with sophisticated orchestrations of piano, saxophone, and strings, while occasionally incorporating heavier distortions and gothic-doomgaze elements.

To support the release, Rundle will perform a series of US tours this fall. This includes solo support for All Them Witches in October, followed by a headlining tour with a full backing band throughout November and December.
