Emma Zheng leads Iowa State at Badger Invitational

Zheng recorded seven birdies and her first career eagle during the second round. The Iowa State team holds an eight-stroke lead over second-place Northwestern, sitting at seven-under par through nine holes of the final round.

Western Kentucky University's women's golf team completed their tournament in 14th place with a total score of 48-over par. Leah Edwards led the Lady Toppers with a tournament score of four-over par, tying for 16th place. Head coach Adam Gary noted the team faced unexpected challenges due to a player withdrawing with a shoulder injury.
