Emmanuel Boateng’s brace eliminates Ludogorets from Europa Conference League qualifiers
Emmanuel Boateng scored twice for Hapoel Tel Aviv in a 2‑2 draw with Ludogorets Razgrad in the second leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League second‑qualifying round. The aggregate score of 4‑2 sent the Bulgarian champions out of the competition, ending a decade‑long streak of group‑stage appearances.
Boateng, who joined Hapoel Tel Aviv from Turkish side Gaziantep in the winter transfer window, opened the scoring in the 16th minute after a defensive error and added a second goal in the 58th minute to secure the aggregate lead. Ludogorets failed to overturn the deficit despite a penalty miss by Kwadwo Duah and a disallowed goal for offside.
The result advances Hapoel Tel Aviv to the next qualifying round and highlights Boateng’s immediate impact on his new club.
