Emmanuel Macron reportedly has secret refuge and evacuation plan

A new book titled “La Nouvelle Armée des Ombres” (The New Army of Shadows), co-authored by investigative journalists Pierre Gastinon, Antoine Izabeau, and Franck Renaud, reveals that French President Emmanuel Macron has a secret refuge located in the suburbs of Paris.

The refuge and associated evacuation plans were reportedly developed in response to severe social unrest, such as the “Yellow Vest” movement in 2018, and a 2022 security breach where an individual entered the presidential residence at the Hôtel d’Évreux.

The authors suggest that French authorities have prepared these contingency plans to protect the presidency in the event of violent protests or significant civil disturbances. The book also notes that security officials have held meetings to prepare for potential uprisings following political shifts, including concerns regarding the potential rise of the National Rally or the Leftist leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon.
