Emmanuel Onwodi appointed COO of Benin-Asaba Expressway Concession Company

The Benin-Asaba Expressway Concession Company Limited (BAECC) has appointed Dr. Emmanuel Onwodi as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Onwodi is an infrastructure finance specialist and former senior official of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) with over 25 years of experience in project finance, risk management, and transport logistics.

In his new role, Onwodi will oversee the operational execution of the Benin-Asaba Expressway concession. His responsibilities include strengthening project delivery, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring the implementation of the company’s long-term objectives. He is also tasked with promoting operational efficiency and maintaining the integrity of the concession framework while fostering cooperation between government institutions, investors, and local communities.
