The long-running soap opera Emmerdale has addressed the whereabouts of Elliot Windsor, who has been absent from the screen since the end of 2024. While the character has remained in the village off-camera, recent plot developments reveal that he has spent the last two years studying in his room to avoid local drama.

Nicola King confirmed that Elliot successfully received his A-level results and will be attending St Andrews university. Actor Luca Hoyle, who has played the role since 2016, recently confirmed his return to the studio to film new storylines following his extended absence.
