Emmerdale's DS Ramsden plots to frame Kim Tate for fatal crash

In the British soap opera Emmerdale, DS Thea Ramsden is plotting to frame Kim Tate for a fatal car accident. The crash, which caused Jimmy King to swerve into a wedding marquee, resulted in the deaths of both Jimmy and Dawn Fletcher.

Ramsden has been using Serena Sugden to conduct surveillance and break into Home Farm to find incriminating evidence against the Tate family. While Ramsden claims to have knowledge of a reckless driver in the area at the time of the crash, she has explicitly stated her intention to pin the blame on Kim, regardless of the actual truth.

The investigation follows the death of Dr. Caitlin Todd, a case involving which Serena Sugden has also been implicated. The tension between Ramsden and the Tate clan continues to escalate as the detective seeks to destroy Kim's reputation.
