Emmy Rossum leads Disney+ thriller series ‘Furious’ debut July 2

The new original series *Furious* will launch exclusively on Disney+ on 2 July, offering three episodes at once and then releasing a new episode each Monday through 31 August. Emmy Rossum, known from *Shameless*, stars as FBI agent Alice Black, who is determined to track down a mysterious, highly methodical female serial killer. The series focuses on the psychological cat‑and‑mouse game between the two women, blurring the lines between right and wrong.

The show is created by Elizabeth Meriwether, the creator of *The Dropout*, *Dying for Sex* and *New Girl*, and features a cast that includes Lola Petticrew, Scoot McNairy, Quincy Tyler Bernstine and Jake Lacy.
