eMocog's Cogthera surpasses 2,000 cumulative prescriptions

Digital healthcare company eMocog has announced that its digital therapeutic device for mild cognitive impairment (MCI), Cogthera, has surpassed 2,000 cumulative prescriptions. The company released real-world usage data showing rapid growth; the time taken to reach the second 1,000 prescriptions was approximately 2.5 months shorter than the first.

Data analysis indicates that the average age of prescribed patients is 72.7 years, with approximately 93% of users being aged 60 or older. Despite the elderly demographic, the initial cognitive training start rate remained high at approximately 99%. The 12-week program completion rate was approximately 70% for those in their 60s, 68% for those in their 70s, and 59% for those aged 80 and above.

The medical adoption of the device is also expanding. The number of medical institutions using Cogthera increased by 25% to 85 facilities, and the number of prescribing medical professionals rose by 30% to 104. Additionally, re-prescriptions accounted for 21.5% of the total volume, suggesting sustained use among existing patients.
