Emory University secures victories in soccer and volleyball

Emory University athletics secured notable victories in both soccer and volleyball competitions. In men's soccer, Emory defeated Brandeis University 3-1 during a University Athletic Association contest. Although Brandeis took an early lead in the 38th minute via a header by Jack Rossiter, a red card issued to a Brandeis defender changed the momentum. Emory capitalized on the man advantage, scoring three unanswered goals to secure the win.

In volleyball, the Emory team extended its winning streak to four matches at the UAA Round Robin in New York. The Eagles earned a four-set victory over Rochester before defeating No. 3 ranked Carnegie Mellon. Key performances included Kennedi White with 16 kills and Norah McNichols with 26 assists in the win against Carnegie Mellon. These victories bring Emory's overall record to 10-4.
