Emotiva DR Stack Compact Hi‑Fi System Launches in the UK

Emotiva has introduced the DR Stack range, a compact series of four matching 267 mm‑wide Hi‑Fi separates – the DRP‑1 pre‑amplifier, DRA‑1 power amplifier, DRD‑1 DAC and DRS‑1 streamer/DAC. All units feature a steel chassis, black anodised aluminium front panels and dimmable blue OLED displays, and they deliver a fully balanced signal path with sealed relay switching and precise volume control. The DRA‑1 amplifier uses Hypex NCOREx technology to provide 100 W per channel into 8 Ω (130 W into 4 Ω) and can be bridged for 400 W into 4 Ω. The DRD‑1 DAC is built around an ESS ES9038Q2M SABRE32‑Reference converter, supporting PCM up to 768 kHz, DoP 256 and native DSD512, and includes HDMI eARC, balanced XLR and RCA outputs. The DRS‑1 streamer combines the same DAC with a lifetime licence for the Volumio Premium platform, offering Qobuz, TIDAL, Spotify, internet radio and local storage playback, plus Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi streaming.

The DR Stack will be sold in the United Kingdom through distributor Karma‑AV beginning in August 2026. Pricing has been announced for each component, and the system is marketed as a space‑saving solution that can be built to suit a variety of user requirements while maintaining audiophile‑grade performance.
