Ćemovsko polje sees cemetery upgrades and grape harvesting

In Montenegro, significant infrastructure and agricultural activities are underway in the Ćemovsko polje area. Construction is nearing completion at the new cemetery, where a columbarium featuring approximately 245 niches is being built at a cost of around 340,000 euros. Other completed or ongoing improvements include the construction of 264 graves, new roadways with lighting, a 230-space parking lot, and a large canopy in front of the chapels.

Simultaneously, the company Plantaže 13. Jul is conducting its grape harvest. Approximately 245 seasonal workers, primarily from North Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Albania, are engaged in the process. The harvest includes both mechanized methods and manual picking for premium wine production. Workers report daily earnings averaging between 35 and 40 euros.
