Emperor Metals reports high-grade gold results in Quebec
Emperor Metals has reported significant new drilling results from its Duquesne-West Gold Project in Quebec, Canada. The findings confirm high gold grades located near the surface, which supports the potential for a cost-effective open-pit mining scenario.
Key drilling data includes hole DQ26-52, which yielded 24.1 meters at 2.6 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold starting at a depth of only 45 meters. Within this interval, a high-grade core of 7.1 meters at 7.5 g/t gold was identified, including a one-meter bonanza zone of 37.9 g/t gold. Additionally, hole DQ26-53 showed 14.3 meters at an average of 2.2 g/t gold, featuring a 4.0-meter section at 7.4 g/t gold.
The company stated that these results provide the geological substance necessary to prepare a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA).
