Empire State Green Standard Alliance debuts at New York State Fair

The Empire State Green Standard Alliance has debuted the first-ever cannabis consumer advocacy booth at the Great New York State Fair. The 13-day presence aims to educate visitors on New York’s legal marijuana market, responsible consumption, and product labeling.

This participation follows legislation signed by Governor Kathy Hochul that expands opportunities for cannabis microbusinesses to participate in showcase events. The Alliance intends to help consumers distinguish licensed dispensaries from illegal sellers as the state’s adult-use market grows, with over 710 dispensaries currently in operation.
