emPLE Life Insurance named Rising Brand of the Year in Ghana

emPLE Life Insurance Ghana Ltd has been named the ‘Rising Brand of the Year 2025’ in the life category at the 6th Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG) Insurance Excellence Awards. The ceremony took place on August 29, 2026, at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.

Formerly known as Metropolitan Life Insurance Ghana, the company is a subsidiary of EverCorp Industries Limited. It transitioned to the emPLE name in December 2025 following the acquisition of Metropolitan Ghana businesses from South Africa’s Momentum Group in September 2025.

Dr. Rafique Daudi, Chief Executive and Country Head of emPLE Life Insurance, stated that the recognition belongs to the company’s customers, employees, partners, and shareholders. The emPLE Group, which includes emPLE Health Insurance and emPLE Pensions Trust, also served as a diamond sponsor for the event.
