Employment opportunities reported in Ubatuba and Cabo Frio

Municipalities in the state of Rio de Janeiro are reporting various employment opportunities through local government programs.

In Ubatuba, the Balcão de Emprego e Renda has updated its registry to include 57 vacancies across sectors such as hospitality, restaurants, general services, maintenance, commerce, and manual labor. Available roles include cleaning assistants, cooks, electricians, salespeople, and rural workers. The service also promotes professional qualification through free courses offered by platforms like Qualifica SP and Capacita GOV.BR.

In Cabo Frio, the Emprego Já program has 400 available positions for the first half of August. Of these, 389 are for general competition and 11 are reserved for people with disabilities. The commerce sector, particularly supermarkets and wholesalers, holds the highest concentration of openings, followed by services, infrastructure, and gastronomy. Key roles currently in demand include salespeople, cashiers, butchers, and production assistants.
