Empoli appoints Matteo Andreoletti as new head coach
Empoli is set to officially announce Matteo Andreoletti as its new head coach. The 39-year-old manager, who arrives from Padova, is expected to be formally presented to the press tomorrow following the completion of administrative requirements to release him from his previous club.
Andreoletti brings experience from both Serie B and Serie C. During his tenure at Padova, he led the team to promotion to Serie B, achieving a notable average of 2.26 points per match during that campaign. His professional background includes 132 league matches across the two divisions.
Andreoletti will be supported by a technical staff that includes Stefano Bianconi and Andrea Malgrati. Meanwhile, players Stiven Shpendi and Matteo Egan are currently undergoing separate training sessions but are expected to rejoin the main group by the weekend.
