Empoli honors long-term supporters during match against Palermo

Empoli hosted Palermo in a Serie B fixture marked by both sporting action and a special community tribute. The match featured a significant gesture by Empoli Football Club to honor its long-term supporters. Instead of the traditional appearance of children, the club invited its oldest season-ticket holders to walk onto the pitch alongside the players to symbolize the multi-generational bond between the team and its fans.

On the pitch, the match was played under intense heat. The squad featured key players such as Massimo Maccarone and Antonio Di Natale. The event also coincided with the debut of new coach Matteo Andreoletti.
