Emporcha launches school drawing contest in Aysén

Empresa Portuaria Chacabuco (Emporcha) has launched the school drawing contest ‘Emporcha, Mi Puerto, Mi Comunidad’ to celebrate its institutional anniversary. The initiative invites primary school students from the coastal areas of Puerto Aysén, Puerto Aguirre, Puerto Cisnes, and Melinka to participate.

Students will compete in two categories: Category A for 1st to 4th grade and Category B for 5th to 8th grade. The contest focuses on themes such as the importance of the port, maritime life, community environment, and coastal protection. Participants must use manual techniques, as digital tools and artificial intelligence are excluded from the competition.

Felipe Candia Araya, General Manager of Emporcha, stated that the activity aims to foster creativity and strengthen the connection between children, their territory, and port activities in the Aysén Region. A multidisciplinary jury, including local authorities and company representatives, will select the winners.
