Emprende U 2026 entrepreneurship contest reaches grand final

The Emprende U 2026 federal entrepreneurship contest is approaching its grand final, scheduled for August 13 and 14 in Rosario, Santa Fe. The competition features teams from various Argentine provinces, including Mendoza, Córdoba, Santa Fe, Tucumán, Chaco, and Corrientes.

In Mendoza, four finalist teams have been selected: Navais and Nexo in the secondary school category, and CGIC – Acción del Sur Blockchain and Contech in the university category. Notable projects include Navais, a smart bracelet designed to assist individuals with visual impairments through haptic alerts and high-precision sensors, and Nexo, a digital platform connecting businesses with workers to cover sudden absences.

The initiative is a strategic alliance between several national universities, including the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (UNCUYO), Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC), and others, aimed at fostering a regional entrepreneurial ecosystem and developing new talent through mentorship and project development.
