Empresa Metro de Bogotá supports earthquake relief efforts

The Empresa Metro de Bogotá (EMB) has expressed solidarity with communities affected by a recent earthquake in Colombia. In coordination with district administration guidelines, the entity is supporting humanitarian assistance and recovery efforts in impacted zones.

EMB has issued an open invitation for citizens and organizations to participate in donation drives led by the Mayor's Office of Bogotá. The initiative focuses on collecting basic supplies and essential items to provide rapid assistance to affected families. The National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD) is coordinating technical assistance and emergency aid in municipalities declared to be in a state of public calamity, establishing protocols for the collection of non-perishable food, hygiene kits, blankets, and bottled water.
