Emraan Hashmi faced personal struggles during ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ shoot

Parveen Hashmi has revealed that actor Emraan Hashmi was facing significant personal struggles during the filming of the romantic drama ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’. In a post on Instagram, Parveen shared that while the actor was shooting the film, their son, Ayaan, was undergoing cancer treatment.

Parveen noted that the emotional depth seen in the film was partly a reflection of the actor’s real-life situation, as he had to leave his family to attend the shoot while dealing with the family's medical crisis. She remarked that the tears seen on screen often come from a ‘very true place’.

Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Mahesh Bhatt, the film features Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan, and Rajkummar Rao. The story is inspired by the real-life romance of Mahesh Bhatt’s parents.
