Emre Belözoğlu comments on Arda Güler and Fenerbahçe promotion

Kasımpaşa manager Emre Belözoğlu has commented on the development of Real Madrid player Arda Güler, addressing his rise through the ranks at Fenerbahçe. Belözoğlu noted that he spoke with Güler during a period when the player was struggling for minutes at Real Madrid, comparing his situation to the early career of Vinicius Junior to provide perspective.

Belözoğlu also addressed recent claims regarding Güler’s promotion to the Fenerbahçe first team. Responding to statements by İsmail Kartal, who previously claimed to be the first manager to play Güler for the senior squad, Belözoğlu stated that while he recommended the player's promotion during his tenure as sporting director, it was ultimately Fenerbahçe as an institution that brought him up and played him.
