Emre Belözoğlu discusses Kasımpaşa's European ambitions

Kasımpaşa manager Emre Belözoğlu commented on his team's future ambitions following a 4-1 victory against Samsunspor in the 8th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig.

Belözoğlu stated that while fans are calling for European competition qualification, such a goal is not currently realistic for the club. He described Kasımpaşa as being in a developmental stage, noting, “We are a club that is still in the crawling stage. Hopefully, there will be times when we run long marathons.” However, he emphasized that the club's management maintains a long-term vision aimed at reaching European competitions in future years.

Reflecting on the match, Belözoğlu praised his players for maintaining motivation despite a previous loss to Galatasaray. He noted that the team has shown resilience by not losing focus even when trailing in matches throughout the season. He also acknowledged Samsunspor as a significant club with quality players currently undergoing a period of change.
