Emre Tari and 9 Others Arrested in Istanbul Celebrity Drug Probe

A Turkish court ordered the detention of businessman Emre Tari following a drug investigation led by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor. Tari was among ten individuals sent to prison, while a total of nine people were formally arrested, including Tolga Çam, Murat Saygı, Enis Ahmet Onat, Hasan Vatan, Reyhan Küçükyeğen, Mehmet Yıldız, Ramos Correira and Eren Yorulmaz.

Out of 23 people initially detained, 14 were released under judicial control. Those released include well‑known public figures such as actress Beren Saat, singers Kenan Doğulu and Berdan Mardini, and other entertainers. Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing and further judicial decisions may follow.
