Emre Yilmaz Wins Final KPN eDivisie Title and Secures World Championship Spot

Emre Yilmaz of AZ defeated Chris de Boer of Ajax 10-2 in the final of the KPN eDivisie, claiming the last national championship of the competition. The victory brings a €40,000 prize pool and the distinction of being the final champion of the series.

The win also secures Yilmaz a place in the EA SPORTS FC™ World Championship and qualifies him for the eChampions League. Four Dutch Eredivisie clubs – Ajax, Feyenoord, PSV, AZ, FC Twente, Go Ahead Eagles, FC Volendam and Excelsior – were represented in the knockout tournament that culminated in the championship match.

Alongside the national title, the top finishers earned spots at the FC Pro World Championship, making the event a gateway to the international esports stage.
