Emyria opens Empax clinic in Sydney to expand mental health network

Emyria Limited has officially opened its first Empax clinic in Sydney, New South Wales, marking a significant milestone in its strategy to establish a nationwide network of specialized mental health facilities. The new clinic expands the company's clinical presence across four major Australian states: New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, and Western Australia.

The opening increases Emyria's total treatment capacity from 14 to 18 locations, enabling up to 90 administration sessions per week. The facility has already begun treating its first patients, with more treatments scheduled in the coming weeks. This expansion is intended to bolster the company's ability to generate real-world clinical evidence within regulated healthcare environments.

Emyria is also leveraging its Australian operations to support its broader strategy in the United States. This includes utilizing clinical evidence for potential US applications, following the company's selection to present at a US FDA hearing regarding psychedelic medicines and the appointment of former US Secretary of Veterans Affairs Dr. David Shulkin as a strategic advisor.
