En un Lugar del Norte project holds fundraiser in Castrejón de la Peña

The cultural project ‘En un Lugar del Norte’ is reorganizing its summer activities following the confirmation that it cannot hold its conventional edition in Cervera de Pisuerga. To ensure future viability, the organization has launched a crowdfunding campaign managed by the Asociación BPM Cultural.

A patron festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, in Castrejón de la Peña. The event will feature a performance by the group Delameseta, alongside local musical acts including Índico, Tele-Club, and Rapu. The initiative has received institutional support from the Castrejón de la Peña City Council and its local board, as well as sponsorship from Galletas Gullón.

To date, the fundraising effort has raised over 5,000 euros from more than one hundred individual contributors. The project has set a minimum goal of 8,500 euros to consolidate its independent structure. The collection period remains open until September 25.
