Enable Bluetooth on TV and Pick Low‑Latency Wireless Headphones

TV manufacturers such as LG, Samsung, Sony, Hisense, Philips, TCL and Panasonic provide a Bluetooth setting that can be accessed through the remote’s gear icon or audio menu. Users must select “Bluetooth” or “Wireless speaker,” enable pairing mode on the TV, and then choose the desired device from the list of discoverable devices. If the TV does not list the device, a new search can be initiated, and successful pairing registers the device for future use.

Dedicated wireless headphones for TV use a proprietary low‑latency link, often connected to the TV via an optical cable, HDMI ARC/eARC, or a 3.5 mm jack. This design eliminates the audio‑video sync delay common with standard Bluetooth headsets, offering instant sound transmission, simple one‑button pairing, and on‑ear volume controls. The result is clearer dialogue and immersive audio without disturbing others in the room.
