Enac and SkyAlps discuss regional air transport development

Enac Extraordinary Commissioner Carlo Mearelli met with SkyAlps President Josef Gostner to discuss the development of regional air transport and the strengthening of territorial connectivity. During the meeting, Mearelli emphasized Enac’s role in supporting private enterprises through growth and consolidation, focusing on safety, sustainability, and the promotion of the Italian aviation sector.

SkyAlps presented its business model, which integrates private airport management with regional airline operations. The company is also a candidate to launch connections for Regional Air Mobility (RAM), a project initiated by Enac through its in-house company, Enac Servizi. RAM is a strategic component of the National Airport Plan, currently being finalized by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, aimed at promoting short-range mobility.
