Enac participates in Rimini Meeting as easyJet extends acquisition timeline

The Italian Civil Aviation Authority (Enac) is participating in the 2026 Rimini Meeting, using its stand to engage with institutions and citizens regarding the future of air transport. High-profile visitors to the Enac space included Minister Gilberto Pichetto Fratin and European Commission Executive Vice President Raffaele Fitto. Enac Director General Alexander D’Orsogna stated the mission is to promote national and international aviation development and spread aeronautical culture.

In separate corporate news, easyJet and Bidco have agreed to an extension for the publication of the Scheme Document. This follows the August 6, 2026, announcement regarding a recommended cash acquisition of easyJet's entire issued and to-be-issued ordinary share capital by Bidco through a court-approved corporate reorganization plan.
