ENACOM: Andrés Michelazzo appointed as new interventor

The Argentine government has officially appointed engineer Andrés Michelazzo as the new interventor of the National Communications Entity (ENACOM), replacing Juan Martín Ozores. The change was formalized through Decree 1149/2026, signed by President Javier Milei and Chief of Cabinet Diego Santilli.

Michelazzo, who holds the rank and hierarchy of secretary, brings approximately 30 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, including a 16-year tenure at Telecom Argentina. He will lead the agency during the final months of its current intervention period, which is scheduled to run until January 4, 2027.

Outgoing interventor Juan Martín Ozores announced his departure via social media, highlighting his management's focus on satellite connectivity, spectrum administration, and critical infrastructure. The transition occurs as the agency continues its reorganization process under the oversight of the Chief of Cabinet's office.
