ENAM launches applied psychology program in Burkina Faso

The Ecole nationale d’administration et de magistrature (ENAM) has officially launched a new training program in ‘Applied Psychology’ in Ouagadougou. The ceremony was presided over by the Minister of Servants of the People, Mathias Traoré.

The new curriculum is designed to provide the public administration with specialized skills in mental health, psychosocial support, orientation, remediation, and the management of crises and trauma. This initiative aims to equip civil servants to handle the pressures of their roles and the complex social realities currently facing the country.

The inaugural cohort consists of 38 trainees enrolled in clinical psychology and psychopathology. According to ENAM Director General Jacob Yarassoula Yarabatioula, the program will provide rigorous training to meet the requirements of the current national vision.
