Encceja 2026: Reapplication requests open until August 28
Participants of the 2026 National Exam for Youth and Adult Competency Certification (Encceja) may request a reapplication of the exams until August 28. Requests must be submitted exclusively through the Participant Page on the Inep website.
Eligibility for reapplication is limited to candidates who faced documented logistical issues during the original exam or those who were affected by specific infectious diseases in the week preceding the tests. Logistical issues include natural disasters, power outages, or proven errors in application procedures. Recognized medical conditions include tuberculosis, diphtheria, measles, rubella, COVID-19, and Mpox, among others.
Inep will analyze all requests individually. If approved, the reapplication exams are scheduled for October 6 for elementary school certification and October 7 for high school certification. Encceja is a free, voluntary exam designed for adults who did not complete their basic education at the standard age.
