Encceja 2026 exams held across Brazil for adult education certification
The National Exam for Certification of Youth and Adult Competencies (Encceja) 2026 is being administered across all Brazilian states and the Federal District. Managed by Inep under the Ministry of Education, the exam allows individuals to obtain certification for elementary or high school levels.
To qualify for elementary certification, candidates must be at least 15 years old, while those seeking high school certification must be at least 18. The exam consists of four objective tests and an essay. Participants are required to present an original photo ID and use a black ink pen made of transparent material.
Additionally, registration for the Enem 2026 exam is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 25, and will run until June 5. A significant update for this edition is the automatic registration for public high school seniors, though they must still access the system to confirm participation and select exam details.
