Encounter Resources reports high-grade niobium at Aileron Project

Encounter Resources has reported further high-grade niobium intersections at the Emily and Green deposits within its Aileron Project in Western Australia.

At the Green deposit, infill drilling yielded results including 19.7 metres at 5.3% niobium pentoxide (Nb2O5) within a 92.4-metre interval at 2.0% Nb2O5. These results were identified in areas considered prospective for potential starter pits.

At the Emily deposit, aircore drilling returned high-grade intersections, such as 7 metres at 3.1% Nb2O5 and 16 metres at 2.4% Nb2O5. Following these results, the company has commenced diamond drilling at Emily to test the depth and extent of mineralisation beneath previous aircore holes.

The Aileron Project holds a combined inferred resource of 120 million tonnes at 0.77% Nb2O5, which includes a high-grade component of 26 million tonnes at 1.7% Nb2O5. Encounter Resources has completed over 40,000 metres of drilling at the project in 2026, with an additional 30,000 metres planned.
